Step 1 of 6
Marinate your chicken tenders in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours.

Combine flour, corn starch, seasonings, salt & pepper in a bowl. In another separate bowl, whisk the egg with 1 tbsp of water. In a third bowl, combine the breadcrumbs with panko/cornflakes.

Once the chicken is marinated, remove chicken tenders from the buttermilk. Allow excess to drip off and then pat dry with a paper towel.
Step 4 of 6
Dredge chicken in flour mixture to lightly coat. Then dip into egg mixture, followed by breadcrumb mixture.
Step 5 of 6
Preheat the air-fryer to 200°C and add chicken to the fryer in a single layer. Allow it to cook for 11 minutes and prepare the pancakes according to the box instructions

Lastly, stir all the syrup ingredients together and plate all the dishes in a serving bowl to dig in!
